Default 90cc Chinese Quad

Im back folks;

Ok so I got the little atv out spring just hit here and it's running fine, acutally better than ever after a good carb cleaning and tune up. However I still have the same issue with this thing I always have and thats the starter button don't work...

I start it now jumping the soilnoid - pressing the button does nothing.

where do I start?

5 pin CDI

hey DJ, glad you're back!
did you check to see if you got power up to the starter button? did you pull the button apart to see if it is making contact inside? are the wires intact and connected good?

I'm thinking bad safety switch. Does the brake light light up when you hit the brakes?

start at the solenoid and backtrack on the starter button wire. look it over for pinches or any degradation or deficiency. surely there's a breach in it between the button and the solenoid. may have to strip some electric tape off to look or you could just meter/ohm it from the button to the solenoid.
