Automatic Transmission stuck in high.
#1
So... I have a Daymak 260cc 2007. Long story short. Shifter was getting really touchy, so after removing the adjusting rod and trying to shift manually (vicegrips on crankcase). There is no movement - it has seized up. Was working fine and then got progressively worse.
I removed the cover, and the cogs are linked together just seized.
I have 2 questions.
Should there have been oil in the cover? It was bone dry.
There are four wires comming from case.
Green, white, pink, blue white. Green and white are disconnected (prior owner). Blue white, and pink go into 3 wire connector and come out on the other side the same colour. Where does green go? White? 2wires but only one open slot on connector.
Any suggestion where to start would be greatly appreciated!
