Default 2005 yamoto 110 3rd gear screech problem

After the quad gets warmed up real good the 3rd gear and sometimes 2nd will start to screech real bad. Fluids are all good. The noise is coming from the front gear case area. Maybe a tollerance issue when something is expanding? It seems to pull the motor down too. When I put it up on blocks and run it, it doesn't make the noise. So it is when the gearcase is under load. Any ideas?

well, it can't be a belt. hmmmm.......almost sounds like a bearing is going out to me. do you see any metal shavings in the oil or collecting on the drain plug?

Sorry guys I've been gone. Haven't drained the oil, but I could check that. It only happens when its run for awhile. My daughter said it has happened since we got it a few years back. But everytime I had time to ride it, it had cooled down, so I never heard it. Hasn't been in any water. When I jack the back up right after it makes the noise it quits. When you get back on it and ride it a ways it will start again.

can you tell if there is any lateral movement in/around the gearbox? that could tell us if a bearing is starting to go out due to radial thrusting. does it happen going straight or on turns left or right?
