Just recently replaced the crank in my jinling jla 21b with loncin 250cc water cooled engine. After a lot of head scratching i got it all back together but before i put it back in the frame i thought i would try and go through the gears to make sure they engaged properly but now it wont change gear. It seems like the gear selector lugs wont move freely. Is there any way to check if i have everything in the right order. I am mechanic but not for bike engines so it is all new to me. It all seems to be in the right locations but shifters wont move when case is back together. Please can anyone help me before i lose my temper with it.
