I agree with the above posts. Remove all safety devices. You can simply unplug them. The remote shut off on new ones, and the tether you attach to your kid that's connected to a kill switch. Just unplug them. Now, I had a similar problem with a brand new 2 week old 110 boulder. No spark. Swapped out every single electrical part with another new boulder I had. Only thing left is stator, or wiring harness problem. Took off the engine cover, and the timing chain guide fell off and got I to the stator and effed up the wires and stator. Easy fix, but took forever to troubleshoot. Here are some pics. The first one is where the chain guide is supposed to be. That's after I found it hung in the stator and replaced it. If you look closely, you see the guide jammed in the coils and the frayed wires
