Its a rolling mess! Pretty sure its a tao tao. Missing parts an wiring was torn apart! Key switch was torn out an hot wired, can some one tell me the correct way to hot wire as it was not! I got it to turn over but no spark? No kill switches on brakes or clutch??? Should get spark as far as I can tell! Thanks in advance.

 

check the cdi box...they are cheap on these and go out often from what I have seen...

 

Most quads have a two part ignition switch, when you turn on, a live feed from the battery is connected to the light switch, starter switch etc. The other part of the switch connects or disconnects an earth wire to the CDI. You have to work out which wire is the earth to the switch and connect it to wire going directly to the switch from the CDI (Or disconnect it if it works the other way round).

 

getting a new wiring harness an sdi just to be sure of everything!
