Default The truth behind yamoto atvs

Ok so I own a utility yamoto 250 atv and noticed something very cool about it.And that's that it is really a 2005 Yamaha Bruin. It has the exact same frame, airbox, transmission, engine, exhaust, etc. The only difference between the two is the pastics and brush guard and racks. But the brush guard and racks look to be the same as the Honda rancher or rubicon. So the only yamoto part on it is the plastics.I even replaced the shift shaft seal,k&n air and oil filter,NGK spark plug, and headlights bulbs with those made for a bruin. And I did some research on yamoto and found they were sued by yamaha for copying the yamaha raptor on another model. So this might help you if you were looking for some aftermarket parts

They are copied but not made the same. Or with same quality of components such as Stators,CDI and so on. Also material quality.
All Socket sets look alike but a drop forge made in India will crack your knuckles before one made by Snap-On.

Their are plenty of clone Honda Gx200 motors made to the exact specs but in no way are the made of the same materials or electrics. Price and reliability will reflect that.
I tried a aftermarket CV boot to save money and it was a mistake, but I tried a aftermarket bendix drive that has been great for 4 years now that cost less then half what Polaris wanted.

The real thing.
