Default cdi box troubleshoot help

i have an older china atv, 90 cc no spark, i replaced spark plug, ignition coil, cdi box, stator, still no spark, i was trying to test the cdi box, i read that if you unplug the middle wire and still get spark, you have a bad kill switch, once i unplugged the middle wire, i lose all power to the ignition key, and will not crank. this wire is green coming off the cdi box. i traced the wire and it does appear to go through the kill switches, also is there supposed to be a 12v power supply to the cdi box. the cdi box has 5 wires. i bought this atv, not running, and have no idea what the previous owner did. thanks for all your help

the wire you are looking for on the cdi box to kill the kill switch should be black with a white trace.

Just look at the colours of the wires going to the kill switch, that is the one you want. It often goes to the ignition switch too.
