If the engine is revving and the quad is not moving the clutch is fried or needs adjusting.. I thought from your description the engine was bogging down..

Try turning the choke partially on when it happens and see if it gets better or worse..

Another possibility is a bad coil.. Less spark when it gets hot..

Putting the choke on 1/2 way will add fuel.. if the condition improves you have a lean condition.. If it gets worse you have a rich condition(which I doubt). If it does nothing it eliminates the carb as the problem..

I usually replace them but there are ohms resistance tests for a coil..

Does this have a chinese spark plug in it? If it does replace it with a NGK C7HSA and see if that helps..

not sure about the plug ill check it. a few things , carb float over flow filter doesnt drain , filter looking thing has no outlet, and seems to be way too much draining from float. bogs down with full throttle, so i cleaned carb, took apart and all. no change with carb cleaning. is better with 1/2 choke. whats the remedy for this?
