If turning on the choke helps.. your pilot circuit is dirty.. Either the pilot jet or the holes in the carb for the pilot circuit. Could you see light thru the jets when you cleaned them.

Id get a NGK spark plug.. C6HSA is the correct one not a C7..

yeah can see through , cleane appropriately, actually much better with new plug. as far as bogging when full throttle but have not tested it while hot up hill with new plug. need tosee if float bowl still over flows excessively too. so we'll see maybe this weekent. Thanks . Appreciate your time and knowlege. saves me some time trouble shooting a hundred things, put me right on the right stuff. im not familiar with these machines much.

If fuel flows out of a over flow tube then the float is either set to high and doesnt cut off the fuel.. or the needle/seat could be damaged..

Its also possible that you have a vacuum leak around the carb or its manifold.. pretty easy to find that.. lightly spray carb cleaner around the carb and its mounting gaskets.. (keep it away from the hot exhaust) if the idle goes up or the engine dies while you spray carb cleaner.. youve got a leak at that spot.. I say this because turning on the choke helped..

I usually replace them but there are ohms resistance tests for a coil..
I had the same problem last night. Chinese quad just gets hot and runs lean. It runs like a beast until I dog the crap out of it for too long. Only time I've seen it lose power.
