The bike will easily pull me (200lbs) up ~ 30 degree hill when cool, but wont pull daughter or me up hill when hot, any ideas or experience with this?? is this the clutch slipping? its a centrifugal clutch , rpms dont increase when going up hill but feels like the break is on, but is not. Any ideas?

Im wondering if its getting so hot the engine is sort of vapor locking... basically burning the fuel before it gets in the engine.. All of these are set up very lean which makes them run hotter than they need to..Has the quad done this since you got it?

I believe you can adjust the clutch on the side is a nut with a threaded rod comming out of the case, the rod has a screwdriver slit cut in it. Crack the nut loose lightly tighten the screw till it stops back off a 1/4 turn and lock the nut see if that helps also change the oil.
