Default 2003 Dinli Beast 90cc

Picked up a Dinli everything is good. New battery, plug, relay starter. Wondering if the carb is whacked. It'll run if I hold my hand over the intake but won't otherwise.

so it sounds like it's getting too much air, is the airbox intact? did the previous owner have an aftermarket open air filter on it? have you adjusted the air screw?

Airbox is intact, filter is good. But the carb slide is more then half way open at 0 throttle. tried adjusting the cable but it seems like that's as far as it goes. On my other quads the slide bottoms out unless it's choked.

what?!!!, carb slide @ 0% throttle output shows to be 1/2 throttle inside? wow, this may be real easy....take the slide out, spin/rotate 180°. line up the slide's grooves with the **** on the inside of the carb. it should go all the way down then. report back.

Just put on new carb. Fires right up idles great but bogs at half throttle. Could it be a jet issue?
