Default re-wire kill switches

If you unplug the The 2 wires coming from the brake handle, will this allow you to start the atv without the handle being engaged? Or does the harness wires need to be jumped across to make a circuit?

This won't be a "kill switch" as the engine has to run once you take the brake off, it will be wired to the starter circuit. Easy answer, try starting with wires disconnected, if the starter motor works, that is the way to leave them. If the starter only works with the wires connected together, leave them that way, but the brake light will probably be on all the time.

the wires/harness has been cut up.looking for a way to make sure I can bypass this action so when I try and get the engine to start, this isn't an issue.

the above is the only real way to do it. Some of them are normally open switches and some are normally closed. The 2 i have worked on just required me to remove the wires and all was good.
