Hi, I am new here and have a problem with my twister hammerhead 150. While doing some work on the engine I disconnected the trigger wire(Blue/Yellow) from the Black/White wire to the DC CDI. When I went to connect them back up about 3 weeks later I inadvertently connected up the Black/Red wire from stator to the Black/White wire to CDI. It started and ran OK below half throttle, but then the revs would break down with higher revs. After searching on the net I found out the trigger wire was actually Blue/Yellow and the Black/Red wire wasn't used. So after I connected them up correctly, it ran fine for about an hour and then started popping and died and now is very hard to start and keep running and constantly popping back through carby. Could I have damaged the DC CDI by connecting the AC wire to the DC CDI trigger wire?

Need help.
