Have you even tested these items first?

Put 12 volts to the starter to see if it turns.

Also, a good charged battery will run your quad fine. Once started, remove the ground from the battery while it's running and if it dies, stator is bad.

Like Merryman said, never trust what someone else says until your test it yourself.
