Question Monsoon 90cc quad won't start

Hello. I just joined the community. I've read through some threads to determine if anyone has this same problem but to no avail. I've had this quad for around four years or so and it ran great until last year. When I first got it, the starter was bad in it but I put in (well my father did) a push button and it solved that issue. I've changed the battery, checked all the wiring and everything. That's all fine. I've determined that the engine is not getting the right amount of fuel. Any ideas? There's fuel in it. I would like to get this running again. Please help!

If it has set for a while, there's a good chance the carb is gummed up. A thorough cleaning, not just spraying it off, may solve the problem. Check the float level, jets and the needle seat.

I'll check all that out. Thanks for the tips!

Ok so I've taken apart (after draining the fuel) the carb but I found that it was clean as it could possibly get. My thought is its something in the engine itself but I have to get fuel and oil (the oil was as bad as the gas) and test it. I'll let you guys know what happens.
