Default Stumped on a wildfire 150 scooter

I’ve been working on a scooter for some time now. It’s the gy6 150. It has a problem getting fuel to carburetor. I replaced the petcock fuel pump, replaced most of the vacuum lines. I checked the compression and determined it needed some valve work so I pulled the head, cleaned and reseated valves. The valve guides were good. I have everything back together and still no fuel getting in to the carburetor. I replaced the filter and can see it filling up but doesn’t seem be getting in to the carburetor. It will try to start when I put fuel in to the cylinder. Would anyone have any ideas of what I might be missing?

Being a quad mechanic, I have no idea what a wildfire 150 scooter is like.Paper element fuel filters tend to air lock if run dry of fuel, try getting fuel past the filter by blowing down the filler hole in the tank. However if it has a fuel pump and fuel isn't being pumped, then the pump may well be the problem. I assume it is vacuum or crankcase pressure operated, if so, turn the engine over on the starter with fuel pipe disconnected at the carb. If fuel doesn't start to flow, try mimicking the suck blow pulses with the vac pipe in your mouth. If fuel then does flow, you either have no vacuum in the inlet manifold, if the pipe is connected to there, or no vacuum/pressure pulses in the crankcase if the vac line is connected to that.

Thanks for the reply on my thread. I think I have found where the problem is. It’s definitely a carburetor issue. I pulled the hose from the carburetor and turned it over while it shot fuel into the throat of the carburetor. It tried to run. I decided to look for a new carburetor. It’s just easier to replace it than bother with getting in to it again.
