Is It Electrical Issues or Compression Issues?
#1
I had purchased used a Yamma Buggy with a js171fmm-4 engine in it. The wires from the stator had been accidentally ripped out from the previous owner. I managed to reconnect the wires to the CDI and managed to get a spark. The spark seemed a little weak though. If I have gotten a spark do I have to worry about other wire combinations or should I look into replacing the stator? (I can't find a wiring guide)

Assuming it is the "16 coil type" shown in on-line pictures of a stator for this engine, the three white wires on a separate round plug will be alternator wires and go to the regulator, there is no particular order for them. The ones to the grey plug you must have got right or it wouldn't spark. Standard wiring colours for Chinese stuff is blue = trigger, Red/black = power coil, green = earth, but many use non standard colours. Some earth one side of the trigger and power coils, on others, both wires from trigger and/or both from power coil, go to the CDI.
