Default what skid plates do you recomend

Greetings fellow mud beings
adamant, check out the Armordillo plastic ATV skid plates. They have to be the toughest, lightest, least expensive and best looking skid plates on the market. My friend told me about them after he had one on his Honda TRX450 for 3 years. This guy usually has to trade his quad in every year or two because he is so hard on quads, he can make mush out of just about everything he touches. The skid plate is still there in one piece and he swears that he has hit and slid over rocks the size of small cars. Check the skid plates out at Armordillo's web site www.atvtires.com

The Vinson's are already covered pretty well. Did you want to change the existing skids?

I was just going to say that the Maire plastic skid I have on the Recon has worked well. But then I remembered that the Vinson already has some skids. It doesn't seem like too much would get to your motor through the existing skids. But it is amazing how the sticks will jamb their way up into the smallest hole. I was looking in a couple catalogs and at first I couldn't find anything listed for a Vinson. Dennis Kirk has a couple things listed for the Vinson. (swingarm, cv guards, full skid)

I figured you had plenty of protection with the stock skid too. I am getting proarmor's for my z. www.ProArmor.com.

Do you have a Auto or a 5 speed Vinson? If you have a 5 speed no 1 has a full chassis skid out yet.The chassis skid is different on these 2 bikes.Ricohet has a chassis, swing arm,and a-arm skids out for the auto now and they are working on a skid for the 5 speed bike.Suzuki also offers a full line of skids, but not sure if they have 1 for the 5 speed yet though.

The stock skids are plastic and junk IMO.If you ride over very many rocks I would get some skids ASAP!
