Default I NEED TO REJET

I have an 86 racer too, with the same mods except I'm bored .060 over, and have FMF Torque Reeds. I jetted my carb with a 230 main jet, and it runs like a raped ape. I would probably recommend a 230, 240, or a 250 main jet. I also advanced the timing too. I turned my stator plate approximately 1/8 inch clockwise past the normal timing mark. If you remove your stator cover on the left side of the engine by the gear shifter, then remove the stator flywheel, you'll see the stator plate with 3 coils. On the stator plate there are 3 screws. Also on the plate, by the top most screw, there is a timing arrow that should be lined up with another arrow on the engine casing. Turn this plate clockwise about 1/16 to 1/8 inch. Tighten down the screws and install everything back. Make sure you put the stator flywheel back on with the woodruff key lined up properly. Then install the cover, and you're done. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
