removing oil tank?

Default removing oil tank?

i know this is a dumb question but how do you get the oil tank out i can't seem to get the two rivets? that hold the tank on off any help would be appreciated

You either need to grind the rivets off or use a good chisel.

A drill bit approx. half the size of the rivet also works well.

Along with what the others said, drill down the center of the rivet til you can get a puch about the same diameter of the drill bit to bite when you twist it. Basically snapping off the head. Then if anything remains, just use the punch and a hammer, and tap it through.
