Default Prairie 360 Brakes

I just replaced the front brakes on my '03 360. I was wondering if anyone else has done this and if they have had any problems. I changed the front pads and bleed the crap out of them but they still feel spongy. They work ok, but not as good as before I changed them. Does anyone have any insight on this?

I had to change the front pads on my 360.. Cant say they feel real tight, but then again they didn't feel that way before either.. My do seem to work good though.. Your brake fluid up to par?? I think mine felt better as I broke them in, I know the manufactuer recomened not to be to rough on them for 1st 50 miles.. If you havn't got your 50 miles on yet, they will probably feel better with time..

Either it is your imagination or there is still air in the system.

Try bleeding it again with a closed system. Meaning put a clear hose on the end of the bleeder nipple and submerge the end in brake fluid. Open the bleeder nipple, pump it till no more bubbles come out, then close the bleeder. Do the same on the other side. Don't forget to watch the reservoir level.

Tell me you used EBC brakes or anything other than stock replacements..... The stock ones are overpriced garbage.

When I replaced mine the lever was extremely spongy, as in I had to pump it to get the brakes to work but after a few rides it gradually got better and now they work perfect. It didnt take long, but when I first changed them it was pretty crazy for a few rides.
