Default pro armor nerfs

has anyone had them break? i had mine on for about 4 weeks and the other day i heard this super annoying rattling noise, like a loose bolt or something. looked all over for a while and found out the flat piece of alumimum they make the heel guard out of cracked right in the crease. does anyone know if the have a warranty or has this happened to anyone else?

Same thing happened to mine. I'm trying to find the time to take them to a welder friend and have all the creases welded up.

mine have only got about 6 hours of riding time on them since I've had mine installed. Thanks for posting this though so I can keep a close watch on this as it sounds like it is only a matter of time. A little welding should take care of it, but really should not have to do that. hopefully pro armor will at least fix the problem on future makes of nerfs. I can't imagine that they would ours as they would say that they were abused or something.

Greetings Predator Riders...

I am Ray Martinez from Pro Armor and I want to let you know that if you are experiencing any manufacturers defects with your nerf bars or any of our products, please give me a call and we will either fix or replace any defective parts. All Pro Armor products are race proven and as a result, we have improved our design by increasing the radius of the bends on the heel guard.

I look forward talking to you.

Ray, that's some great customer service. Thanks for stopping by! I love it when manufacturers take the time out of a busy schedule to directly talk to their customers. Way cool!!!!!

Great news! I was on the phone earlier today with Pro Armor and talked with Ray about the break in the heel guards and he told me to return them. He said they were going to replace the heel guards with a new design they have. Ray also said they are going to add a plate on the back of the bars for a different design they have for the fender support. The early fender braces were posts that attached to the frame and fender in only one place. I have to tell you what cool deal it to talk to a company that still cares about customer service. I was so pleased with the service that I ordered a swingarm guard for my Scrambler at the same time. Could I have somewhere else cheaper? possibly, but I spend my money where service means something.

can you make some pro armor nerfs for my scram 400 4x4 I really want some but the only place that makes them for scram is HSP and I don't like the looks of theirs. I really like the pro armors that I have seen they would be awsome with pro pegs attached. probably can't help me but thought I would say it anyway. thanks for caring about your customers.
