I was at some drag races this past weekend and saw multiple YFZ's that after a couple runs and the engine got warm, if they shut off the machine, it was unable to start with the elec. starter...they had to then get bump started! Anyone else having these problems or know of ways to remedy the problem?

 

IM thinking they are jetted wrong. IM running 13:1 piston, cam mod, A/F w/ no lid, and full exhaust for 3 month. I have been riding mostly track, but last weekend went to the desert (103deg) was toped out in 5th for about 10 min. down a dirt road locked it up at a crossing and it died. Started right up no problem. Actually it has never hesitated starting once for me, it almost starts before a push the button.

That has been my experiance.

 

Battery problems? Hmmmm.... let me go find where I put it and I'll let you know. hehehe
