Just wondering if any one out there has tried to modify the stock exhaust. I cut open one that i had left over from the bike that i put a race pipe on. It had baffles and one small tube running through it that had to run the exhaust in to another chamber to get out . So i drilled four small holes through the baffles and cut the pipe off inside at the end of pipe so it could run free flowing with out having to go into another chamber .I will up date when i test it.

 

I think that the real problem with these pipes is that they are just a pipe... on our Scrambler 50, it was just a 1 inch pipe to a muffler. On a 2 stroke, you need an expansion chamber type tuned pipe.
