ok heres the deal ive got a 30 baja never touched anything on it yet im at 4300 ft and ride there and above i know this thing came rich from the gate
when i lug it just slightly it bogs and i have to of course shift down and even when im in 1st gear and pulling something a little slow it bogs untill she can clear her throat
is the only adjustment on the stock carb the one on the very bottom of the carb ?? im just curious about opinions on where she should be.. it hits good wot when at idel but under a little load its different of course thanks for opinions fellas

also a road dog of mine turned me on to some truf tamer aboriginie looking paddle tires that are 20x11x10 with 8 paddles and a center rib in the middle. are these worth getting rims for and would they even work worth a squat on my quad or should i just kick down and get some paddles mounted on rims that are the same factory size ??????

it also has what appears to be a cap on the left side of the carb is your sitting on.. it could this be a adjustment thats pluged due to it being a taxifornia bike ???

 

Indian, I have the same problem. I am fairly new to the Baja also and I have not made any mods yet. There were several notes about this problem early this summer but I didn't get a chance to study them. Maybe I can backtrack and find them this winter when I get time to work on the Baja.

well to day went from a 65 get to a 61.5 jett and walla no more low end bog was riding with a friend on his predator and hes been riding forever and showed him he wasing going to out run my *** and he even has a pipe and other goodies ... can jerk the front end up no problem now ...after ridding the polares im so glad i bought the bomb

 

What brand of jets did you use?

 

it was what ever the bomb dealer had .. im assuming stock makuni type
