Default 2Cycle Oil

I have a 1996 Express 300. Since 96 I have been running the regular 2 cycle engine oil in it. I want to switch to a synthetic oil. I reviewed some post from the past about about using Bombadier Rotax, Amsoil, and Pennzoil synthetics because the are less expensive than the Polaris brand oil. Any specifications I need to look for? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Matt

Regular Amsoil 2-stroke injector oil will work perfect for you.

Well the only advice I have is to drain the oil injection system of your old oil befor adding your new oil. I have heard many stories of people who do not drain their systems and for some reason their motor ends up in tiny little peices. So to be safe I would drain it and add the new stuff.

Hope that helps

I picked up a gallon of bombadier rotax mineral oil at Wal-Mart. I drained the oil resevoir last night. Do in need to flush the remaining oil out? Its been draining all night and today.

No you don't need to flush it but you do need to properly bleed/prime the injector pump. If you don't have a service manual, do a search on here.
