Default 39mm Keihen and stock air box

Have any of you guys ever run the stock air box with a 39mm carb? I have been running a clamp on filter but next weekend I am going to ride in a place where there might be alot of water and I need the airbox. If you have done this what mods do I need to make?THanks for the replies.

HPD and maybe Rick Ritter make an adapter that goes in the carb to accept the air box.

Along w/ what CED state, I'd make sure to gut the restrictive insides of the airbox, and probably have a K&N in there too. Ritter also has an inlet tube mod.
