I went riding yesterday on my atc 200 x . It is an 86. Well for the last couple of weeks I've been riding other machines. Anyway I notice that I have to let almost all the way out on the clutch lever to get it to engage. It may have been like this for the last two years for all I know and didn't notice it. I didn't notice any slippage, but i have heard of other peoples clutches going for similar reasons. So my question is, Is this okay? Should I adjust it to engage sooner? How do I go about doing this? Thanks in advance.
I know this is a yamaha forum, but I normally ride a raptor and I know this will apply to any machine.
