clutch slipping

Default clutch slipping

i just bought a 2000 400ex from some kid clutch was slipping i replaced it with a dirt digger, it still slips what else is there tha could be wrong , is there a common problem that these 400ex have or does anyone have any input any info would be appreciated.

can anyone please help me with my clutch problem any ideas of where to start. someone must know something

make sure there is 'play" in the clutch lever before the clutch starts disengaging.

Does it do what ever it's doing in every gear? How do you know it's the clutch? On my 250x I thought the problem was the clutch when one of my gears wouldn't engage. I bought a new clutch and it didn't help, it was really trans. problems. Good luck

yea i can remember when on my 250R i though the clutch was sliping but then i took the front sproket off and the out put shaft was stripped!

yes its slipping in every gear i didnt think to run through all the gears butt thanks for the idea any more info will be appreciated.
