over heating 700

Default over heating 700

hi guys and girls
i had a little problem with coolant
wile i was plowing i noticed that my coolant light was flashing so i shut er down and looked at my res and found i was low (non visable ) I filled my res the next day and thought i was good to go but while finishing up on the plowing i missed the light started flashing again. does this system need to be burpt or is there somthing else i need to do
btw it's an 03 with about 50 hrs on it
fan came on, ran a little then went off. like normal

Default over heating 700

Check to see if your radiator is plugged up with dirt make sure it is getting the air through the fins. Also make sure that your radiator isnt airbound aswell.Hope this helps

try and put some water wetter in it i don't think it would have bad seals since it only has 50hr on it

Another thing is that I think the new sportsman's run a little hot, or their fan kicks on at a low temperature. I notice that on ours, the fan will kick on easily when just screwing around doing something easy like plowing small amounts of snow. I just think that it is more of a precaution. Brad
