Default Traxxter Lift Kit...

I was wondering if anyone has tried a lift kit on teh Traxxter and if they felt it was worth the time/money. I found one for $100.00 from highlifter and came pretty close to gettting it. Any comments?

Default Traxxter Lift Kit...

Don't get a standard lift kit. Perfex has an extended suspension travel kit that raises the machine about 1 1/2" but also changes the angles on the shocks and adds what serves as a radius rod for the rear.

The ride is amazingly soft. About the best I've ever ridden combined with ATR radials. Plus, there are 3 different shock/travel settings in addition to the preload ring on the rear shocks and travel/softness adjustment on the front shocks.

Perfex is essentially a Canadian product that hasn't been sold in the states. US dealers don't even have them in their catalogs. Only place I could find them is Royal Distributing 800-265-2970. All their stores are in Canada. Price was $117.00, I forget if that was US and CA dollars. www.royaldistributing.com

I got one of the last kits that are cadmium plated. Future kits will be all stainless steel.[b]
