Will I need a new clutch?
#1
I know I have been posting a lot lately about things I am sure most people know. I have no clue about most of this sh*t and I am trying to learn. I have the new mods listed below and was wondering if I will need to replace the stock clutch. If I do need one, what are some good setups?

Im still using my stock clutch, Ive just adjuted it a couple of times and thats it. I think the stock clutch is pretty good so I got another set with aftermarket springs waiting for my original one to go out. I think you should be ok as long as its not slipping bad. If you do want to get a performance clutch, go with the GYT-R kit with the billet clutch basket, Ive heard only good things about that setup.

I think that is mostly rider error. I never had any problems out of my first one and not any out of this one. If it was one of the faulty ones, the tranny prolly would have already went

Rider error wasnt the primary cause for the 01 tranny problems, just ask gary...
Starting in gear, starting in reverse, and the use of reverse seemed to be the main causes for failure. That and they were faulty to begin with.
