Wanted to see if anyone has pics of their Traxter with 28" Vamps or Outlaws. And, if anyone has pics of a rear winch mount.
Thanks

I am runing the narrow AG type tires 27X7X14 and they are grreat in the mud, both front and rear are same height and about 1" taller than the standard Carlisle tires that came on the Traxter. Can not tell difference in power or gearing.

Also have run the Blackwaters, 26", they do ok, but for my mud use, the AG types seem to dig more effectively. We use them in wet clay/cant stand up in it type stuff.

As for winch, Have a Warn A2000 on top of rear Basket, we pickup either end of a Sprint car, car is over 1200 lbs, so am picking about 600-700 lbs depending on which end of car. also will pick the car easy with 1 part line, but will not hold it, so run cable down under bumper and backup to winch mount for a 2 part line, this will hold the car nicely.

Am certain you will like the Warn winch.

Good luck

Hey there TxDoc2, are you the one with the Ruby and Outlaws. Well right now I have 27x12x12 vamps on my XT, but I have a set of 28 vamps and 28x12.5x12 Outlaws. The Outlaws are on my souped up Honda and I'm currently waiting for another set of Magnum rims for the vamps I just took off the Honda. I think though that I'm going to run a Honda lift in the front of the Traxter with the Outlaws, and the 28 vamps on the Big Bore Honda. It seems that the Traxter has more low end power to turn the big meats, at least that was the senerio with the 28 vamps.

Can anybody tell me what type of wheels a traxter comes with from the factory, is it aluminum or steel?

The Traxter = Steel
The Traxter XT = Chrome Steel
DS650 = Alum.
Enjoy
