Default 98 polaris 400 sport

My neighbor is selling a 400 sport for 2500.... is this a good deal? any help would be appreciated.

I have 1 and its awesome. Its faster than my 500 Scrambler.

It is in good running order....
question for you guys..... how can you tell if a used quad is almost ready too be rebuilt?

a sport 400? what year is it... cant remember when they stopped makin them...
as far as being rebuilt...not sure, but i think they would start hard and maybe blow some smoke...

2500 sounds a little high to me... id offer him 2000.

My cousin on here "bigbad" (LMAO) gave 2000 for his 97. But it was in damn near mint cond. So Id say 2200 or so would be fair, if its in good shape.:frown ;

You will need to ask the person that is selling the sport if it has ever had the top end rebuilt. If it has not then you will need to do it right away. 2500 will be a fair price if the top end has been done.
