Default belt frustration-argh!

Ok, I'm at my whit's end. My 02 700 has belt problems, mainly slipping. I've aligned the clutches, installed a heel clicker, put a new belt on, cleaned the clutch faces with acetone and a light scotchbrite pad, put the clutches at 10" apart and experimented with the different springs, but still it seems to slip in high range, even in low resistance situations. I did install 27" gators, but the problem existed before the tires were added and they only measure 25" tall anyway. It seems to me that the higher engagement spring is causing this problem, could it be? Also, isn't this why I installed the heelclicker to begin with, to eliminate belt slip? and to boot my top speed is around 45. Please Help!!

no, I haven't. I did use the heelclicker one. Isn't that more for speed rather than belt grip? Is there any way to check if the clutches are moving freely? They will shift out in nuetral with the cover off.

Did you wind the secondary clutch 1\3 turn when you put the spring in?
