2004.5 sportsman 500 h.o. idle rpm

hello:

i believe my idle is too low after break-in (22.5 hrs). i cannot find any reference to the idle rpm. does anyone know the correct idle rpm?

mine idle's btween 1400 and 1550

Mine's 1280-1400, in that area.

I believe the service manual says 950-1150RPM. Just set it so the clutch / drive doesn't start to creep.

How can you adjust the idle? I have a 2000 suzuki quadmaster 500 and it wont idle..im wondering now if its set to low....

There's a wheel on the carbeurator for setting the idle, but I had better luck with just skinning back the throttle cable a little, then adjusting the cable a little tighter.
