i have a 03 banshee needs rings bad any body know what thes walls of jugs r made of r they nickel plated or what, walls r pretty glazed over needs to be honed but i know u shouldn't hone nicklel walls so please help me out

 

no they are not NiCaSil (sp*?)
you can hone them... but you want to make sure thats all it need... it might need to be bored... id bring it to a machine shop to see if they are still perfectly round or not.

 

I agree with hozed on this one, when I needed to go a top end I needed a bore because it wasnt a perfect circle, but it you cant really tell with just an eye.


You spelled NiCaSil right btw, and no the banshees dont have that plating.
