04 stock tires...
#2
I guess I don't mind them. Nothing to write home about though. Someday I want to get some really good mudders, but the stock tires seem to be good, for what they are ment for.

I recently took my 500 out for a joy ride with the stock tires....I was happy with them it go me through the shore of a pond with around 2-3 feet of water and mud i had to push a few times when i got in my buddies ruts, also had to winch out of a pasture that was mud and grass and stuff..everyong got hung up in there..but the question i have is has anyone had their 500's in sand? it seems that mine just wont get up the hills?
But i am going to purchase some new tires thinking mudzilla's

I don't have an 2004 model but I think the performance of the tires wether its a 2003 or 2004 model is hampered by the weight of the machine. Especially in loose sand, gravel, deep mud and deep water. I just ordered a set of 26" mudlites so I'll have to see if that changes the ability my 400 has of finding the bottom of everyting I seem to try to go through.
