I went to the Dealer today and got my Explorer comming. I wanted to make sure I got one with the Headlight Pod before the new ones came out without it. I personally like the headlight better than the ones without. But the dealer did me a favor and put sportsman tires on it (Traker P's)and is putting the Yellow plastic on it with 96 Explorer Decals. The 96 decals are the ones with Purple, Blue and silver lettering. I CAN NOT WAIT!!!! The last time I was this excited was when I was a Kid and it was Christmas Eve!
Tell me what you guys think about the color and the Decals??? I really want to hear from you Bill C. I know how much you love your Explorer!!

bosty man that sounds cool,be sure and let us see pic when you get it,I like the yellow very much.I've had the green and the red but YELLOW is best by far.Them decals should set it off.You should be excited it's great machine want to hear all about it when you get it.CM

 

I agree, Yellow does look the best. I have a yellow 99 Sport, at first I didn't care for the yellow, but now I've grown to love it. Very distinct! I love being the one that sticks out in a crowd. Show us some pics as soon as poss.

You are going to love the new Xplorer.The power is simple awesume for a 4x4 quad.Very little smoke for a 2 stroke quad to.Acceleration is great.The AWD is second to none.And guess what?It is 110 lbs LIGHTER than its bigger brother,the Sportsman 500cc.And it is also faster to.I sure dont regret buying mine.To date,I've had NO problems with this quad.I love it.====Bill

 

Thanks for sharing my excitement with me!! It should look pretty unique when it all gets done.
I heard on a few posts back that polaris is getting away from the headlight pod on the 400 explorer. Then I talked to the dealer and he confirmed it. I don't have any way to put pics on the web but i'll try to find someone to do it for me. Thanks again for the responses. RIDE ON!!!

Yea the dealer is going to charge Extra, I'll tell ya here's what I got
New 400 explorer w/sportsman trakker P tires and a Black seat $5169.00
Ordered the new yellow Plastic with the 96 Decals
$325.00
Then I get a $250.00 Credit for the green Plastic that they get back.
