comet clutch puller?
#4
Also beware, the machined tolerances of the Comet clutch are very tight. Even with a very thin film of Anti-sieze on the crank, I have had to pack the clutch-puller hole w/ grease and "explode" it off with the impact.....Safety glasses are a must, cause da stuff flies everywhere. very interesting on the comet clutch puller for sale,,
but it's little too late, modquad is right,,i broke a polaris clutch puller trying to remove that clutch out,,it fit very tight on the crank and i didn't put any stuff before installing it like the comet sheet was talking about.,disgust.

Ibroke a polaris clutch puller taking my comet clutch off of my xplorer before I sold it,man that thing was on there ,I would like to try the clutch on my new 500 ho ,but I am a little worried I will have the same problem taking it off if I want to go back to stock.does a little never sieze make a big dfference in the ease of removing the clutch?

it should had work out (never seize stuff),it will help you on the work of removing it,you can heat up the clutch a little for heat dissipation,or you took the spark plug out,and have someone else cranking the pull start rope while you put on the puller,,it should have an impact.
