Default bigger tire speed

if you have big tires on a quad, will it go faster than a quad with small tires?

Default bigger tire speed

changing the size of the rear tires has the same effect as changing the rear sprocket,
bigger = speed
smaller = bottom end

Just make sure you can pull the taller tires. Changing your gearing can make a big difference.

hI,I put 26 mudlites on type 6 rims on my bike and my top speed was changed alot.The stock 25s on the bike it would go 54 to 57 but with the lites it only goes 46 to 50 mph.The bike does handle way better than stock.I have even checked this with my new garmin 60cs gps and speed were the about the same.Next time I might get the mudlite in the 25 and see how they work.Laters Brian
