Nerfs Installation/Suggestions
#1
I soon would like some nerfs after I get my RAZRS. But I need some help. Any suggestions on which brand and how long it takes to install them? I here Graydon is best but takes longer to install. Whats the best and approximately the usual time it takes to install.

Installing the Graydon's wasn't hard at all. First you might have to remove the stock black mud guards, and then loosely install the center bar and u-clamps that attach to the frame in front of the motor. Then you clamp the rear part onto the stock foot pegs...I used two pair of vise-grips...and drill the holes to bolt up the rear section of the nerf bars. Then you simply make sure everything is aligned correctly and tighten up all the bolts. On my 400EX, I had to use a Dremel tool to trim the plastic mud guards so they'd fit again, as the rear section of the nerfs turned upwards into them.

graydons aren't bad, they are more expensive though. i would suggest the aluminum if you go with them, because the finish on the steel is very poor. the installation was like most aftermarket items: you are going to have to make some minor modifications...

I have graydons they took about 20 mins to install. Make sure what ever ones you buy you can replace the nets. The nets were the hard part. I used a pair of neddle nose pliers and pulled them through the bracket. Gradton alumium would be my choice. But i could not not buy AC racing nerfs. They discontinued they for the quadzilla..
