Default Front Hubs '01 SP 400

I'm getting ready to change the fluid. I have never done this and was looking for a little instruction on how to do it, what I need and what type of fluid to use. I did a search and was able to get some idea on how to do it and how to fill it at 4 & 8. If anyone has any helpful hints I'll listen. Thanks.

Instructions from service manual (99-00 Scrambler)

1. Put drain pan under hub.
2. Remove hub cap (3 screws and pry equally on edges)
3. Allow fluid to drain
4. Inspect cap o-rings for nicks cuts..., replace if necessary
5. Remove check/fill plug
6. Reinstall hub cap (fill plug must be removed before reinstalling cap)
7. Turn filll hole to 4:00 or 8:00 position
8. Add polaris demand drive hub fluid until fluid trickles out. ( DO NOT force fluid in under pressure)

================================
Polaris Demand Drive Hub Fluid:
PN 2871654 - 8 oz.
PN 2872277 - 2.5 gallons
================================

I assume it would be the same steps for yours.
