Default 01 Xplorer 400 tranny leak?

I was riding my xplorer this weekend and after it sat in the garage over night I noticed it had leaked some tranny fluid. So I add some fluid and rode it again and then it just leaked a few drops. Then I washed it real good getting all the mud and dirt of it and rode it pretty hard and no leaks. Since then it hasn't leaked for a week now. Any thoughts? Is there any type of "breather" on the tranny where it could leak from?

Thanks!

The tranny does have a vent, so if it's not still leaking you may have got some fluid in the tube.

Stop riding! Drain tranny and measure fluid level. If you sucked a rock into your tranny via the chain, you may have a crack inthe cover .I just did this. 235 bucks for the cover. The pol. shop had a guy who cracked his behind the chain bumper on the tranny. He didnt know it and drove untill he couldnt shift=$1000 for just the tranny.
