Default YFZ 450 Thumb Throttle

Anybody know how to loosen the tension on the yfz thumb throttle? It's pretty stiff and I usually go out for long periods of time when I ride, and I'm not looking to lose a thumb.

Get a thumb extender... that'll give you more leverage

do not get a thumb extender, it will make it much worse. the problem with they yfz isn't the tension, it the is length of the throw and the angle. the best thing to do is to put a throttle housing and lever from a 400ex on, it is a shorter lever and has a better angle in relation to the bars.
