I'm having some issues with my Vinson auto. It's easy to shift into Reverse and even Low, but sometimes it's hard to get into High. Does anyone else have this problem, is there something I can do about it. I don't have the repair manual yet, so any direction would help.

id suggest making sure your idle is set a bit lower...that may help. But most importantly make sure that the shift linkage (near your motor pull start) is at the correct setting...you can easily pull the linkage off the transmission case and twist the piece of plastic further down the thread or back it off the thread a bit. Id suggest doing that and going just a few turns each direction and see if that provides a remedy for your problem.
