JUST GOT A GREEN BRUTE FORCE THIS EVENING AND EVERYTHING HOPED FOR AND MORE!!! I'VE BEEN RIDIN' AROUND FOR THE LAST FEW HOURS AND JUST GOT BACK (1:30AM)! I'VE BEEN WAITIN' SO LONG AND CONSTANTLY BEEN RESEARCHING ALL THE 4X4'S OUT THERE AND I'M SO GLAD I BOUGHT THE BRUTE FORCE....I CAN'T BELIEVE THE POWER THIS THING HAS..........AND THAT'S JUST AT 1/2 THROTTLE (CAN'T GO FULL UNTIL AFTER THE 10 HR "BREAK IN" PERIOD). THE COLOR IS GREEN AND IT WILL SOON HAVE A WARN WINCH INSTALLED AT THE DEALER WHEN IT GOES IN FOR THE 1ST MAINTENENCE CHECK AFTER 10 HRS (INCLUDED IN THE DEAL). GOT THE WINCH FOR $69.00 AND GOT THE DEALER TO WAIVE THE LABOR COST FOR INSTALLATION. THE ONLY THING THAT SUCKS IS NOT BEING ABLE TO PUNCH THE THROTTLE ALL THE WAY.....BUT I'LL BE DOING THAT SOON ENOUGH AFTER THE BREAK IN PERIOD. BY THE WAY, ANY OF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON TIRES?? I WAS THINKIN' ITP 589's OR MUDLITES.............LET ME KNOW........WELL BETTER GET TO BED.........WIFE'S ALREADY PISSED I CAME BACK SO LATE!!!

unless you do a lot of deep mudding I would go with 589's..they ride worse than a tractor..

 

I got 27" 589's on mine and I don't think they ride half bad, If you are going slow on pavement they feel choppy but on dirt I can't notice it. They bite in corners pretty good too, it's hard to get the *** end to slide around though it takes practice and a whole buch of throttle, careful she doesn't roll over on you , I had a couple of close calls

if you want to powerslide get sum dirt devils they slide really easy

 

Unfortunatly thats ALL dirt devils can do...they are with out a doubt one of the worst tires I have ever seen in action..if you like wasting all of your power in uncontrollable burnouts...getting beat in drags everytime or just plain wasting money then dirt devils are 4 u..if these things dont appeal to you then look at something else..the only reason i beat 5thhorsemen in drags is because his DD's dont hook up at all..they just spin uncontrolled..hes 70 lbs lighter than me and has the dyna ignition..he should be able to take me...

 

forget the half throttle break in stuff and open that thing up, i think it'll make it a little fast once it's broke in if you ride it hard now. great choice BTW

 

I agree with that one. I babied my Prairie for about 1 hour, been hammering it ever since. It runs fantastic[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

yeah don't baby it.ride it hard to break in properly,manufacturers tell you to baby it for liability reasons not for best break in.a new engine should be accelerated hard as soon as it warms up.
