Well I have had the Yamoto 70cc for about a month now. I am starting to have some strange engine nosies. I had broken the motor in properly according to the yamoto owners manual. I am starting to get a tapping from the engine. It sounds like one of the valves but I have checked the valve clearance and it is acceptable. Once the motor is warmed up is does go away a little, but it can still be heard. I am also getting a noise from the motor when you start to decelerate from moving. You can speed up and then let off and just befire you come to a stop you hear a couple of knocks. Almost like a chain slapping up against something. If you just rev the engine it does not do it, you have to get it moving and then stop.

Does anyone have a detail service manual for the LONCIN 70cc engines that Yamoto uses? I have ordered the suplementary manual from Yamoto for the 70cc but there is no details about the motor. I would just like to know how to check for clutch wear and how to adjust the valve timing chain.

Im looking to buy a few of these same 70cc ATVs for my ATV safety classes.I like the shaft drive and the Automatic tranny's.But if we cant get service for them,what good are they?

I may have to RE-THINK about buying?

 

l am looking to buy a 90cc for my kids. found a loncin. tried to research on internet and haven't found much info. Can anyone tell me if that is the same as the yamoto brand. And is it true that yamoto has had serious safety issues?
