Just wanted to start a thread to get people's opinions on which machine will with the big bore sport utility 4x4 shootouts that are sure to take place soon. I'm gonna guess that the new KQ will win the all around. If I were gonna buy a machine I'd want the Brute, just cause I like the raw power! Here's how I think the 3 will stack up in categories:

All Around- 1st KQ, 2nd BF, 3rd sp800(a very close 3rd)
Handling- 1st KQ, 2nd sp800, 3rd BF
Power- 1st BF, 2nd sp800, 3rd KQ
Towing/Pulling- 1st sp800, 2nd BF, 3rd KQ
Mudding- 1st sp800, 2nd BF, 3rd KQ

These are of course just guesses from what I've read about the machines so far. Different magazines will also give different results. Magazines always seem to take handling as the most important aspect and this is the main reason I think the KQ will take the overall. I sure am anxious to see how these machines stack up side by side.

 

well I feel that theKQ will win as well, however you haveit finishing 3rd in 3 of your four catagories how is it going to win like that?

 

ya, i figured someone would point that out. the reason i think it will still win, even finishing 3rd in those categories, is because i think it'll be very close. i don't think any of the 3 will run away with any category, except the KQ may handle quite a bit better than the other two. for example, with the sportsman's extra weight, it will surely pull the best, but between the brute and KQ, well the brute may just barely edge it out because it has the stronger motor.

 

i think the best all around will be the kq.best power the brute. the polaris 760 will be a close third.i cant wait for this shootout

 

Here are my thoughts:

All Around- 1st=sp800, 2nd=BF, 3rd KQ
Handling- 1st KQ, 2nd=BF, 3rd=sp800
Power- 1st BF, 2nd sp800, 3rd KQ
Towing/Pulling- 1st sp800, 2nd BF, 3rd KQ
Mudding- 1st=BF, 2nd=sp800, 3rd KQ

Bottom line is, these three along with the kawa 700prairie & sp700efi are in a big bore class by themselves. The next level is griz, rincon, AC650, bomb650, sp700, and sp600.

Just my thought, and I could be totally wrong, but I figure I am pretty close.

 

700v Id go along with that....But maybe the mudding part...sp800 will own that one ....
